Hocus Pocus was first brewed in 2003, is a 4.6% old ale – rich, smooth and dark ruby red. English Golding and Fuggle Hops, pale and dark malts, and a small amount of invert sugar, combine for a proper pint of old ale. It has won gold in the in the Old Ales/Strong Milds category at the CAMRA Winter Champion Beer of Britain Festival 2020, and now goes forward to the Great British Beer festival in August – and has a chance of being crowned the Supreme Champion Beer of Britain.
